DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG (D)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport meet with our guide then drive to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site (160km driving one way – 3.5hrs drive). This will be your first opportunity to see some of the rural areas of Vietnam. The drive goes through the Red River delta, so we’ll have plenty of chance for taking photo of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy field. Arrival Halong, check in hotel for leisure. Dinner at local restaurant, overnight at hotel in Ha Long.
DAY 2 : HALONG – HANOI (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Halong Bay boat station to take the boat trip about 4 hours to visit Halong Bay with Paradise Cave, Fisherman village, Kissing Chicken Rock. Lunch will be served with Halong fresh seafood, enjoy VietNam Coffee on Cruise. Back to Hanoi to visit Hoan Kiem Lake ( Restored Sword Lake ) and shopping at 36 Old Quarter, enjoy Vietnam Famous Water Puppet Show, dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 3: HANOI – HO CHI MINH (B/L/D) ( Fight booked by yourselves)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, President Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. Lunch at local Restaurant, transfer to airport for flight to Hochiminh city. Pick up at the airport transfer to city centre. Dinner & overnight in Hochiminh city.
DAY 4: HO CHI MINH – MY THO (B/L/D)
After breakfast, depart for My Tho – about 75km from the city, On the way stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Arrival Mekong, take a leisurely boat ride along the river visit to Thai Son Islet and The Fruit Garden to enjoy the local fresh fruit, tasting the longan honey tea, coconut candy and enjoy Vietnam Traditional Folk – Song. Special Vietnamese lunch will be served with Mekong “Elephant Ear Fish” and “ Dinosaur Egg “. Lunch at local restaurant, back to Saigon to visit Hundred Years Red Cathedral, The French Old Post Office, and People’s Committee Hall, The French Opera House, dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 5 : HO CHI MINH – CU CHI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed to Cu Chi Tunnels –– An immense network of connecting underground tunnels that more than 200 km long and 3 – 8 m deep, the tunnels were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American forces, and helped to counter the growing American military effort. Back to Ho Chi Minh for lunch to visit Saigon Chinatown – Tianhou Temple, continues to visit Vietnam famous Lacquerware Factory and Handicraft Center, Free for shopping at Ben Thanh Market until night time for dinner, dinner & overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
DAY 6: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel, free and easy until transfer to airport for flight back home.
