DAY 2 : BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA (B/L/D)

After breakfast, take boat across Chao Phraya river and visit Wat Arun.  You know a Bangkok temple is special if its image is on Thai currency, in this case the 10-baht coin. Though Wat Arun’s phra prang are the biggest attraction, they are actually only a small part of the complex, which also hosts lovely white buildings, shrines, ponds and tiny lanes. Next, you’ll visit to Wat Traimit, where it is actually home to one of world’s largest solid gold Buddha statues. Remarkably, the image sat ignored for centuries until workmen dropped what they thought was just a five-ton, 13th century image of Buddha in the 1950s, cracking the plaster to reveal the solid gold statue underneath. Apparently, it was covered to fool invading Burmese back in the day. Lunch at local restaurant.

Continue the journey, you will stat with shopping activities. You’ll shopping at Gems Gallery, Leather Shop, and Honey Bee factory. Transfer to Ayutthaya.

Upon reach Ayutthaya, stop for dinner at local restaurant and shopping at Ayutthaya “Hua Raw” night market. This evening market offers clothes, toys and a different variety of things however quite a small part of the market, the majority is aimed at food. It is not only Thai food, you also can get European and Muslim food also. Transfer to hotel for overnight.

DAY 3 : AYUTTHAYA – BANGKOK (B/L)

After breakfast, visit Wat Yai Chai Mong KolWat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Mahathat. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue journey, you will visit Bang Pa-In Palace. The palace is very European in design. The buildings are laid out along an artificial ornamental pond. In what was formerly the public area of the palace, the lake is a long rectangular pool, lines with formal plantings and the odd folly. The most obvious of the ornaments is a modern copy of a Khmer style Prang.

Transfer back to Bangkok and visit Asiatique Riverfront. Dinner at own expenses.

DAY 4 : BANGKOK – Departure

After breakfast, free at own leisure until departure time.
