After breakfast, take boat across Chao Phraya river to Wat Arun. Wat Arun locally known as Wat Chaeng (or temple of the dawn) is partly made up of colorfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water. Next, visit Wat Traimit, also known as Temple of Golden Buddha. Lunch at local restaurant.

Continue your journey, its shopping time! You will be excited to go through this activities as you will visit Gems Gallery, Leather Shop, and Honey Bee Product. After that, transfer to Kanchanaburi, where an ideal base from which to explore Thailand’s wild west.

Dinner at local representative before transfer to hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, you will visit Death Railway, where it is an incredible railway journey that begins at the River Kwai Bridge and takes you all the way across the hell fire pass. The greenery on either side is utterly astonishing. This will definitely is a poignant reminder of the thousands of POW’s and forced laborers who lost their lives in the Second World War. Right after that, do visit Jeath War Museum. JEATH stands for Japan, England, America, Australia, Thailand and Holland, representing the nationalities of the prisoners of war (POW’s) who were forced to work on the construction of the famous “Bridge On The River Kwai”. The museum displays graphic images of the terrible condition inflicted on the many young men that died and  the many that survived to tell the story. To bring these atrocities to the public domain, the museum exhibits many photographs taken of real situations either by Thai’s or POW’s.  Lunch at local restaurant.

To continue the journey, you will visit Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park.  Explore the trace of once-flourish Khmer Kingdom at one of best known Khmer-style religious structures in Thailand. Historians estimated that Prasat Mueang  Singh, and its surrounding architectures on the bank of Kwai Noi  River, was built between 857 and 1157 as a religious temple of Khmer Kingdom. Prasat Mueang  Singh was later abandoned until the reign of King Rama I when the area of Mueang  Singh had become one of border cities of Kanchanaburi. The restoration of structures hasn’t completed until 1987, though. The main remaining structure is Prasat Mueang Sing (Tower of the City of Lions) itself, a Khmer-style architecture with influences from Lop Buri arts. It is framed by 800 x 1,500 meters city walls. During the excavations, historians found precious artifacts, antiques, pottery and religious ornaments with more than 2,000 years of history. Transfer back to Bangkok. Visit Asiatique Riverfront before heading to hotel for overnight. Dinner at own expenses.
