Discover the Enchanting of Taichung

Day 1 : Arrival 

Welcome to Taipei. Once you arrive, meet & greet our representative and transfer to hotel. Free & easy for the whole day. Overnight at Orchard Park Hotel / Monarch Skyline Hotel / similar.

Day 2 : City Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to city tour at Taichung where it is an industrial city on the western side of central Taiwan. In the bustling city center are museums, temples and the ornate brick Taichung Station, a legacy of the Japanese colonial period (1895–1945). Next, you will visit Chung Tai Chan Monastery. The monastery is incredibly impressive. Not a few people in Taiwan think Chung Tai Chan monastery is even flashy, a show of wealth and power that is difficult to reconcile with the ideas of simplicity and non-attachment normally associated with Buddhism. Right after that, you will be transfering to Wen Wu Temple which  is a temple in China venerating both the patron gods of civil and martial affairs in the same temple complex. Stop by for lunch.

After lunch, visit Xuan Zang Temple. It located next to Sun Moon Lake, is built in the Tang Dynasty architectural style. The temple is divided into two levels, one where the remains of the monk Xuanzang are worshipped, and the other, where the golden Sakyamuni Buddha is worshipped. Afterward, you will be take to another places of interest which is the Sun Moon Lake. The southern part of Lalu Island is shaped like a new moon, and the northern part is shaped like a sun; hence the name Sun Moon Lake.

Next stop will be at Eslite Park Lane where it’s a vibrant area with a cool museum, park and Eslite (just about the most popular hangout bookstore in Taiwan) and you just can’t miss it if you are in Taichung for the weekend. Most of the time, the parklane is a large area of greenery. People visit to play, have a picnic, and walk their dogs. On some weekends, concerts and/or tented vendors are set up. Most weeknights a few solo artists and little vendors can be found scattered around the park. It’s definitely worth multiple visits.

Last tour will be at Feng Chia Night Market. The snacks in the night market will make you drool. The clothing is unique and fairly priced. In addition, the most fashionable mobile phones are also the cheapest in Taichung. Overnight at Ful Won Hotel / similar.

Day 3 : Shopping Tour (B,L,D)

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Once finished, be ready for the tour. Today, you will transfer to Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, is a modern metropolis with Japanese colonial lanes, busy shopping streets and contemporary buildings. First place that you will visit is Vigor Kobo Dream Factory. is a company that specialises and sells traditional chinese cakes and pastries. They are one of the market leader in Taiwan and has opened many stores. Best known for their pineapple cakes, they have also won several awards with it. One of their newly launched products that has gotten a good amount of media attention is their bamboo charcoal pineapple cake. Second pick stop, you will enter Chiangkai Memorial Hall.  Linger in this place where full of art and culture, wander at leisure through the wide elegant spaces, appreaciate the beauty of the architecture and gardens as well as experience the joy of growing and learning. Lunch.

Next, you will visit Jiufen where it is is good place to visit and had some traditional street food sold here that are worth trying, such as oyster omelette, snacks, rice cake, BBQ squids, mushrooms, grilled Taiwanese sausages, baked chicken, noodles dishes, bubble pearl milk tea and so many things.  There are some interesting souvenirs, bags, clothes and accessories also sold here. It’s fun just people watching and wandering. Well worth a visit. Stop by at Taipei 101 Mall (exclude the ticket), duty free as well as at Ximending for shopping activity. Overnight at Intrendy Hotel or similar.

Day 4 : Yehliu Park – departure (B,L)

Morning, after breakfast, transfer to visit one of the most attractive place that you must visit! One of the premier destinations in northern Taiwan, Yehliu Geopark is home to a number of unique geological formations including the iconic “Queen’s Head” and is located along a cape stretching out from the town of Wanli. Lunch. Depart back to hometown.
